Ronin Gabriel trained under Altairian Elite forces, and thus was assumed to have served under Klavic as well as Ny'tah initially. As a result, he knows a great deal about their techology and thus how to effectively use them in battle.

Ronin has a cybernetic headset implanted on him, and is seen sometimes wearing a mask. He also wears a cape which covers a heavy suit of body armor.
His specialisation in Altairian technology grants additional shield energy and plasma resistance, as well as a bonus to alien damage. When 4 altairian ships are used, the fleet gains a 10% boost to projectile speed.
