Reinforced Rails are an upgrade to Phased Magnets with additional shield bypass and a unique minimum range reduction. It is restricted to cruisers.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

Reinforced Rails have the same mass requirement as compared to Phased Magnets but with 5% more shield bypass, ignoring even more of the enemy's shield defenses.

This special also reduces the minimum range of your Kinetic weapons, preventing enemies from hiding within.

Disadvantages[ | ]

Reinforced Rails has around twice the XP of Phased Magnets. For short-medium range Kinetic weapons such as Gemini Driver, Storm Driver and Tempest Driver, the minimum range decrease may not be needed at all.
