General

The Puncture Driver Turret is a long-range Kinetic base weapon that has the ability to pierce multiple targets.

It fires two bright, narrow piercing projectiles before reloading.

Strategy

This is the only weapon in the Unknown Outpost that you can dodge. Dodging these projectiles can significantly reduce your repair time. Strafe Thrusters and Binary Thrusters are recommended for the task.

You should spread out your ships in order to prevent the Puncture Drivers from hitting multiple ships with their piercing ability. Retreating a damaged ship behind a healthy ship is also a bad idea for the same reason.

Note that this weapon does not have a minimum range.
