General

The Plasma Field is the base variant of the Plasma Shell, with lesser resistance against Plasma damage but does not have negative resistance against other damage types either.

Strategy and Setup

Advantages

The Plasma Field is more mass- and XP- efficient than the Exophase Field in general, in addition to providing even more shield energy.

Disadvantages

Plasma Fields are only resistant to Plasma Damage, so they are not nearly as durable against enemies that inflict other types of damage.

Trivia

  • The Plasma Field is the first base shield that protects against Plasma damage.
