==Strategy and Setup== ===Advantages=== The primary purpose of the Midgard Carrier is to speed up allied ships with its [[Agility Field]], empowering kiting tactics as well as rush attacks. This is an advantage that many players may need if they want to defeat higher-level [[NPC Targets]] during [[Recurring Events]]. Besides PvE, Midgard Carriers are also used quite often in medium-level PvP. Its [[squadrons]] can provide a significant range of engagement, attacking enemy ships from a safe distance, drawing away fire and inflicting damage. As the cheapest of carriers to construct and repair, even high-level players may use this ship if all they need is an agility boost. Some players use an "empty Midgard", which is a Midgard Carrier without squadrons, to spawn close to the enemy fleet and catch them before they can even finish turning around. This enables [[cruisers]] to easily catch [[frigates]], and potentially even [[cutters]]. ===Disadvantages=== Midgard Carriers seriously lack firepower with only two slots for squadrons, which makes them unreliable for destroying fleets by themselves and overall. To add insult to injury, this ship also has a 20% reduction to scramble range, making its squadrons even weaker and allowing other carriers to kite it. The Midgard Carrier also has low mass for a carrier, with almost one-third of its mass already occupied by default, meaning you will either greatly sacrifice shields, health, or damage. Higher-level squadrons cannot be used without sacrificing health and protection, and vice versa.
