The Liberator Destroyer is a Tier 6 hull with the ability to resist both Alien and Plasma Damage. It provides the Harmonic Siege bonus which increases damage against modules for your entire fleet.

As a destroyer, this ship has modest firepower but very long range, taking out opponents from afar.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

The Liberator Destroyer is able to equip the fearsome Eclipse Driver, which surpasses all previous ship weapons in terms of range and damage. It is well-suited as a sniper, against both ships and bases, raining devastation from a safe distance.

It can be quite durable with 2 armor slots, making them rather difficult to take down from long range.

Make sure to equip the Harmonic Chase Thruster if you wish to swiftly catch up to carriers and battleships. Against bases, Binary Thrusters are recommended to dodge any incoming fire. Xeno Armored Hold is optional on the remaining special slots if you want to steal more cargo from your enemies.

Disadvantages[ | ]

With a slow turning speed and narrow firing arc, blitz attacks can overpower a Liberator Destroyer fleet if a pincer approach is adopted. It is equally vulnerable to squadrons. Guardian Cruisers and Suppressors are highly recommended to protect the relatively fragile destroyers from incoming attack.
