The Kinetic Dissipator is a resistor that grant modules resistance to Kinetic Damage.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

By conferring additional resistance to Kinetic Damage, modules will take less damage from it, making them more effective against enemies dealing that damage type.

Disadvantages[ | ]

The basic dissipators only grant resistance to one damage type. Make sure you mix and match to grant modules a variety of resistances. Moreover, none of them can resist Void Damage from Marauder Hulls or the Untyped Damage from Collateral Damage.

Being a Reusable Item, the amount available for you to equip is limited by how much you have obtained.

Trivia[ | ]

  • Resistances for Modules was already available through certain Armors like the XXAL Heavy Talonite Plates, but it was not until much later that Base Resistors was introduced.
