As a [[cutters|cutter]], this ship has fair durability and superior forward speed, suitable for rushing into enemy formations. ==Strategy and Setup== ===Advantages=== The Decimator Cutter has extremely high acceleration, enabling it to reach maximum speed from rest in a fraction of a second, taking enemies by surprise. This together with stasis resistance allows the ship to make a quick recovery after being hit by [[:Category:Stasis Dealing|stasis dealing]] weapons. It is the most effective ship to use against [[Alien Hive|Barrage Hives]], which rely on weaponry with extremely long range. Decimator Cutters can enter their minimum range as soon as possible, denying the Hives of their damage output. The Decimator Cutter is ranked 2nd in terms of both durability and offensive power out of the [[Xeno Division Hulls]], making it a good overall ship. ===Disadvantages=== The Decimator Cutter is not agile in close combat and is only good for closing the distance. They often rush head-on towards the enemy similar to other [[cutters]]. As a result, Decimator Cutter fleets usually suffer more repair time than the enemy does. This ship has a narrow firing arc and is therefore countered by [[squadrons]]. It is difficult to use a [[Suppressor]] to protect them due to the massive difference in forward speed.
