The Annihilator Battleship is a Tier 6 hull with the ability to resist Alien Damage.

As a battleship, this ship has bonus range and duplicate weapons for each firing arc, dealing massive damage from a safe distance.

Strategy and Setup

Advantages

The Annihilator Battleship sets a new standard for battleships with increased turning speed. When equipped with Xeno Armored Thrusters, even Alien Reapers find it difficult to get inside its blind spot. This ship can also change directions faster, making them agiler than Hellfire Battleships overall.

Its long range is best exploited through the use of Xeno Shatter Driver, allowing it to kite other battleships and eradicate cruiser fleets with ease.

Similar to other battleships, it has a dual firing arc, enabling Annihilator Battleships equipped with Xeno Rupture Beams to quickly dispatch swarms of Alien Reapers.

Disadvantages

The Annihilator Battleship is a true glass cannon with minimal defensive slots. They are countered by Exterminator Destroyers which are more durable and have even longer range, as well as speedy Decimator Cutters, potentially destroying them in a single firing cycle.

Pure Xeno Shatter Driver builds are extremely weak to squadrons, so be sure to reserve a couple of Xeno Seeker Missiles to destroy them. Punisher Cruisers are often used alongside Annihilator Battleships to buy more time for them to deal damage to the enemy fleet.

Trivia

  • The Annihilator Battleship has +2 deg/s turning compared to previous battleships. However, it is not considered as a Class X ship.
  • The circular part of the Annihilator Battleship near the front spins during combat.
  • This ship originally had a huge hitbox, resulting in many player complaints. Its size was drastically reduced in a subsequent update.
