General[ | ]

The Xeno Seeker Missile is an advanced version of the Seeker Missile with superior damage, higher fire rate and deals Alien Damage, taking on a green coloration instead of orange in combat.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

Similar to the other variants, Xeno Seeker Missiles demolish incoming squadrons with high fire rate. Their damage against squadrons can be further increased by equipping Xeno Beam Capacitors.

Xeno Seeker Missiles have massively increased DPS compared to the Heavy Seeker Missile, allowing them to compete with Xeno Disintegrator Cannons in regular combat. They are extremely lightweight and often substitute other weapons for one or two weapon slots to improve the ship's mass efficiency.

Disadvantages[ | ]

Xeno Seeker Missiles still have significantly less damage output compared to weapons like the Xeno Rupture Beam and have a rather short range, therefore it is not recommended to have a ship with only this weapon unless it is specifically to destroy squadrons.

Trivia[ | ]

  • The winner for destroying the most Geir's Fortresses during the Eradication event received an Elite Suppressor armed with Xeno Seeker Missiles as well as the new Xeno Armored Thruster, before the tech was even introduced into the game as a blueprint.
  • This weapon is no longer available to Umbra hulls after the late April 2019 update to facilitate the rock-paper-scissors system between T7 factions. Existing items will be replaced by Blight Nova Missile in the May 2019 update.
  • Along with other T6 equipment, this item's build time was significantly reduced during the late April 2019 update as summarized here.
