It swiftly deploys purple-colored torpedoes directly away from the launcher to 1,500 m range, which then become active and slowly travel at 500 m/s before exploding at 9,000 m range. The torpedoes at this stage are inactive and thus ignore enemies that get in the way, meaning that any ship within 1,500 m of the launcher will never be hit. Note that the torpedoes have proximity trigger during the secondary phase.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
The Void Spatial Torpedo Launcher gets progressively deadlier as it fires more and more torpedoes, covering the vicinity with a sea of purple. Each torpedo does a ton of damage, often depleting shields in one or two hits.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Void Spatial Torpedo Launcher was first seen in Mining Outposts during the 1st Alliance War. It was revealed before its normal cousion, the Spatial Torpedo Launcher.
