The Void Harmonic Beam Capacitor is the Marauder variant of the Harmonic Beam Capacitor, granting reduced charge time in addition to extended range for both Beam and Cannon weapons.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

The Harmonic Void Beam Capacitor, like its other variants, also reduces the charge time of beam weapons, allowing them to fire much more quickly, outputting more DPS within the same aount of time.

It also grants a Harmonic Warfare stack, increasing the overall ship damage done by ships in the fleet.

It also grants increased range, allowing Void Weapons to reach even further than before, including other weapon types like Torpedoes, missiles, and drivers.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

The Void Harmonic Beam Capacitor only affects Void Weapons, and will not increase the reload time of any other weapon type other than Beams.

Being a Reusable Item, the amount available is limited to how many of the RIs the player himself has.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • This is the first Marauder tech that grants Fleet Bonuses.
  • Ironically, Void Harmonic Beam Capacitors have a longer build time compared to regular Harmonic Beam Capacitors.
  • The Void Harmonic Beam Capacitor originally applied its range bonus to all Void weapons. This is not intended and has been fixed in an emergency downtime on July 2nd.
