General[edit | edit source]

Tritanium is a direct upgrade over Plasteel, commonly used in low-level fleets.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

Tritanium is much stronger and more efficient in comparison to Plasteel. They are equipped on Tier 1-2 ships such as Genesis Cruisers and Talon Frigates.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

Similar to Plasteel, Tritanium is outclassed by Iridium - which is one tier higher - due to superior health and mass efficiency.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Tritanium is a play on the words "Tri" (three) and "Titanium". Both metals are very similar, but Tritanium uses other metals (most likely two others) alloyed with Titanium to make it even stronger. As of now, no real-life alloy goes by the name "Tritanium".
