General[edit | edit source]
The Triadic Vulcan is a shotgun-like kinetic damage weapon utilized by the Pharmakon.
Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]
Advantages[edit | edit source]
The Triadic Vulcan fires a spread of projectiles that are spread out over a fan, similar to the much older Tempest Driver, making it extremely damaging at close quarters.
It also has the ability to pierce multiple targets, which is supplemented by the hull bonus on the Omega, making it able to deal wide spread damage if targets are lined up or grouped close together.
Disadvantages[edit | edit source]
The Triadic Vulcan still has a minimum range, unless it is equipped to the Renascence Battlecruiser, making it vulnerable to any ship that is small enough to get in its blind spot.
Its DPS is spread out over each projectile, making it possible to take less damage by reducing the number of hits taken. Agile ships can also avoid the shots as well, causing the weapon to require a projectile speed modifier to be more effective.
The Weapon is restricted to Altairian, Pharmakon and Umbra Hulls, and the Level IV version, being an RI, is limited to the number the player has crafted.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Weapon is the second Vulcan weapon, first being the Prime Vulcan.
