Adopted from the Pegasus hull, Marauder applied their own tech to this frigate like mobile hull, that rewards highly skilled pilots.

The Tormentor is a Pegasus designed for PvP combat, sporting Void resistance and the ability to equip powerful Marauder Technologies. However, it is blocked from using those of other sources.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

Similar to the Pegasus, the Tormentor has frigate-like agility and can weave in and out of combat with ease. Long-range options include the use of Scourge Fuel in combination with Void Redeemer Missiles to kite enemy battleships and cruisers.

The Tormentor's remaining four special slots (assuming that one is already occupied by thrusters) can be used to mix and match different weapon types and equip all of the corresponding Weapon Boosts. A more efficient option is to stack Overcharged Accelerators in order to gain some resistance to Stasis Dealing weapons.

Void Binary Thrusters and a Void NET Burst Torpedo are recommended for maximum kiting potential.

This ship has an extremely low repair time, and can potentially become a cheap troll that kites most ships and significantly damages others before being destroyed.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

The Tormentor cannot equip any Harmonic Agility equipment, unlike its A.X.I.S. counterpart, and is hence less effective at kiting.

With only 4 weapon slots and 2 armor slots at level I, the Tormentor is relatively fragile and weak, and is easily beaten outright given that the enemy manages to open fire.

Similar to other Marauder Hulls, this ship lacks Alien and Plasma resistance. It is also unable to equip any resistors and therefore relatively fragile against non-Marauder weapons.
