Marauders have converted the Ogre to create the Savage Battleship. It is able to sustain itself with Ablative Technology, and just like the Ogre, becomes more powerful the more ships it defeats.

The Savage Battleship is a modified variant of the Ogre Battleship, utilized by the Marauders.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

The Savage Battleship retains the advantages of the Ogre, designed for devastating targets with its large amount of weapon slots. Its Bloodlust ability also grants it increased Splash radius and damage as it continuously destroys targets.

It also has void resistance, reducing damage taken from void weapons, as well as a large amount of counter chain and counter pierce, reducing the effectiveness of weapons like the Void Sai Missile or Void Epsilon ECHO Cannon.

Its Resurgence Ability also allows it to regenerate damage taken if it wins a PvP Battle, in addition to its ablation, giving the Savage Battleship high survivability.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

Like the Ogre, the Savage's max mass is a very large limiting factor when outfitting the ship, meaning players will have to sacrifice either durability or firepower to stay within the mass constraints of a fleet bay as well.

Being a Battleship, it is vulnerable to Cutters and Battlecruisers and will go down relatively quickly. It is also not as durable as the Lunatic Cruiser and it will go down much faster.
