General[edit | edit source]
Plasteel Plates are the most basic base armor, and the first one to be unlocked in the game. They are used in beginner-level bases.
Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]
Advantages[edit | edit source]
Plasteel Plates are very cheap to equip, with levels I-II being an instant fit (i.e. build time at most 5 minutes).
They can be used as placeholders while waiting to equip more advanced armors, which can take up to a full day. Something is better than nothing, right?
Disadvantages[edit | edit source]
Plasteel Plates are worse than their successor, Tritanium Plates, in almost every way. Replace them as soon as you can.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Plasteel Plates used to share the same name as the ship version, Plasteel.
