General[ | ]

The Piercing NET^2 Torpedo is an enhanced version of the Piercing NET Torpedo which fires multiple stasis projectiles in a fan like formation that can pierce through multiple ships.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

Piercing NET^2 Torpedoes boast an even better slowing ability then their predecessors, as the weapon fires not just 1, but 4 NET Torpedoes in a fan like formation similar to the Arc Missile, Bayonet Missile or Sai Missile.

This makes ships equipped with this weapon a very large annoyance unless the player has large amounts of stasis resistance

Disadvantages[ | ]

Like their previous versions, Piercing NET^2 Torpedoes have poor accuracy absent the use of Volatile Fuel. They are also unable to slow down fleeing ships and are strictly a kiting weapon. They also have a minimum range which can be exploited by skilled pilots.

Trivia[ | ]

  • The Piercing NET^2 Torpedo looks identical to NET Torpedo I-III.
  • The Piercing NET^2 Torpedo first appeared in the Altairian Regiment fleets in the Invasion Event.
