General[ | ]

The Nova Missile Turret is the base version of the Nova Missile. The secondary projectiles travel for 900 m at a speed of 4,000 m/s much like the ship version, but cannot pierce.

Strategy[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

The Nova Missile Turret has decent range and has very high weapon speed, allowing it to reliably hit moving targets.

It also has an area of effect, not to mention the secondary explosions, that can hit multiple ships at once, increasing its damage output. The AoE can be further enlarged by Antimatter Detonators or Xeno AM Detonators for levels I-III and the Xeno version respectively.

Disadvantages[ | ]

This weapon has the same problem as its ship version in that enemies can sit still or rush directly towards the turret and not get hit due to the dead zone between the two missiles.

Strangely enough, this weapon has less damage output than the Atomic Driver Turret despite the latter having even more range and sharing the same mass requirements.

Trivia[ | ]

  • The Nova Missile Turret's primary and secondary projectiles deal a total of 100% and 59.6%/60.1%/60.0%/60.0% DPS respectively (by level).
