Noklak is an Altairian Warlord, who has stolen ships from several rebel outposts. He appears as part of the Voidborne Justice Campaign and was brought down by the rebels.

Noklak has recently gone rogue, and stolen a couple of key technology caches from several Rebel Outposts. When playing through the Campaign, players assume the task of bringing him to justice.
He is however a formidable and dangerous opponent, with several fleets at his disposal in order to throw the players off his scent. He first tried to attack and destroy other Rebel Outposts and fleets in order to discourage further pursuit, but that only strengthened the resolve of the rebels. He then tried to hold a rebel scientist hostage, but that was his undoing, as the rebel scientist escaped and sabotaged his warp drives, leaving him and his guard fleet unable to escape. In the final confrontation, he was ultimately cornered and captured.

Not much is known about the appearance of Noklak. He is however a cunning and ruthless individual, as he prefers to let his minions do the dirty work for him. His right-hand man was even dubbed "The Butcher of Sigma-9". He is willing to resort to underhanded tactics to achieve his goals, as he attacked rebel fleets and outposts and even held a rebel scientist hostage to try and discourage further confrontation.

- It is possible Noklak is affiliated with the Oligarchs, as he uses Oligarch Ships.
- Noklak was the first character to be introduced through the campaigns.
