Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]
Advantages[edit | edit source]
The Monolith Carrier has excellent anti-rush capabilities mush like the Gargoyle Carrier due to its Retaliation overdrive. Surcease further protects it from weapons with a long firing cycle such as the Void Cyclotron Beam.
On the other hand, unlike the Gargoyle Carrier, this carrier can equip field generators such as the Agility Field Compact Generator and Shirk Overdrive Generator, improving its ability to provide support to the fleet.
Unlike earlier T7B Marauder ships, the Monolith already has 50% Void resistance at Mk I.
Moreover, it has largely increased health and slightly more DPS than other Tier 7 Marauder ships, even the Usurper Carrier, bringing it closer in line with Tier 8 ships. It also has a fixed repair time of 2 hours, enabling it to hold a large amount of armor and ablative armor without suffering an increase in repair time.
Disadvantages[edit | edit source]
Much like other carriers, the Monolith Carrier has a large hitbox, making it vulnerable to weapons that have both Piercing and area of effect. Its poor speed stats also hamper the mobility of your fleet as a whole.
The fixed repair time may be a double-edged sword as its original repair time is around 1.5 hours - builds that incorporate minimal armor may receive more repair time than they would have otherwise have had for the pre-buff version of the Monolith Carrier. Nevertheless, this is still shorter than the base repair time of the Gargoyle Carrier (2.5 hours).

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Monolith Carrier originally had near-identical stats as the Gargoyle Carrier, but it got buffed up to sub-Tier 8 level after the late April 2020 downtime. Changes include a doubling of health, a minor DPS boost and a fixed repair time of 2 hours regardless of equipment.
- Along with the Nerve Carrier, this is one of two Marauder hulls designed to enable Tier 7 fleets to begin to compete against beginner Tier 8 fleets.
