Kopis systems seem particularly well-suited to specialization. Pilots can attune their ship to a target class of hull, pursuing their prey with ruthless abandon. Beware as the Kopis gains additional mobility and speed boosts while an enemy is in its overlapping firing arc.

The Kopis is a hunter from the Liberatus faction that specializes in tracking down dreadnoughts. Its AI prioritizes attacking these ships over other enemy hulls.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

While it can potentially deal massive damage due to its dual firing arc, it has a short effective range and can thus be kited easily, even by the very ship class they are supposed to counter.

You can exploit its inability to strafe by allowing it to get within around 3 km of your ship, causing it to completely stop in place and thus unable to dodge incoming shots.

Lock On[edit | edit source]

When the same enemy is in both firing arcs, it temporarily gains bonuses to forward and turning speed, making it easier to keep said enemy within the overlapping region.
