The Inquisitor Destroyer is the first Tier 7 Destroyer, and the Altairian Destroyer, designed for siege warfare.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

The Inquisitor Destroyer has increased projectile range and module damage, making it well suited to destroying bases and outposts extremely effectively. Its Ballista Overdrive enhances the destroyer's effective range and allows it to pierce through targets and Walls greatly enhances its ability to hit multiple targets and deal heavy damage as well.

Furthermore, the Destroyer also possesses the characteristic Alien and Plasma Resistance of all Altairian Hulls, greatly enhancing its survivability when going up against enemy ships of that damage type.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

Like all destroyers, With a slow turning speed and narrow firing arc, blitz attacks can overpower a Inquisitor Destroyer fleet if a pincer approach is adopted. It is equally vulnerable to squadrons as well. Use Bastion Cruisers to protect the relatively fragile destroyers from incoming attack or decoy incoming fire away.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Along with other T7A Herald ships before the Renascence Battlecruiser, this ship has received complete resistance to Alien Nebula and Plasma Nebula in the early April 2019 update.
  • All player ships had their Resurgence values modified as a result of the late February 2020 update.
