The Hurricane Frigate is a Tier 5 hull with extra defensive capability in the form of armor slots and health bonuses.

As a frigate, this ship focuses on agility and evasion, avoiding damage when possible.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

Armed and armored, the Hurricane Frigate is an agile hull that is prepared for combat.
  — Sybil

Hurricane Frigates are the only frigates capable of facing Damocles Destroyers equipped with Infernal Wave Drivers, as the rest are simply too fragile and literally get destroyed in a single volley. This ship allows more room for error and can sustain quite a bit of damage before being taken out.

This ship is commonly used as a sniper decoy due to its high manueverability and health, being able to dodge incoming shots with ease and survive a lot of damage, buying time for your destroyers to eliminate the enemy's Bridge.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

Hurricane Frigates have significantly more repair time than other frigates because of the extra health.

Unstable Reactor does not really work well on this ship because it harms their strafe speed, making them less evasive. However, they can still be used in rush attacks, albeit less effective than Python Cutters.
