General[edit | edit source]

The Heavy Shatter Driver is an enhanced Shatter Driver with significantly more firepower.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

Heavy Shatter Drivers have the same benefits as the regular version, but deal even more damage and are more mass-efficient.

They also have increased shield bypass, making them useful against regenerating shields and guaranteeing damage against the enemy even in the event of a loss.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

Heavy Shatter Drivers are vulnerable in close range combat similar to the normal Shatter Driver. They are just as easily dodged, but each hit counts for a lot more due to the improved damage and shield bypass.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The Heavy Shatter Driver's primary and secondary projectiles do a total of 66.7% and 50% DPS respectively.
  • The Heavy Shatter Driver fails to hit targets at the very edge of maximum range with its primary shot, effectively only doing 50% DPS instead of 66.7%.
  • Along with other T6 equipment, this item's build time was significantly reduced during the late April 2019 update as summarized here.
