The Harpoon Torpedo launches high explosives from medium range.
The Harpoon Torpedo is a medium-range Explosive weapon that focuses on area of effect. Its characteristics can be described as a Scatter Missile on steroids.
Its projectiles and explosion visuals are virtually identical to that of the Creeper Torpedo's.
Strategy
The weapon is relatively slow and lacks homing capabilities; as such, it is hardly a challenge to dodge this weapon, especially at near maximum range.
Try not to bunch up your ships, otherwise you will take a lot more damage due to the weapon's massive AoE.
Trivia
The Harpoon Torpedo was first seen in AXIS Reaper and Harvester targets during the launch of Deep Space.
