After experimenting with Altairian armor, Spectre R&D created this highly resilient yet surprisingly lightweight set of armor while retaining the ability to boost Shield Energy Capacity.

General[edit | edit source]

Graphene Armor is an Spectre-only Armor for Tier 9 ships, that is capable of enhancing the amount of Shield Energy contributed by the ship.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

It weights exactly as much as its Tier 8 counterpart - Scale Armor - but provides significantly more health. The level III version provides even more shield energy.

The level II version is not as mass-efficient as the level I version on paper but note that it gives a greater shield energy bonus.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

This armor does not have RPS versions and thus cannot provide the ship with resistance to Alien Damage and Plasma Damage. However, due to the massive amount of health it provides, the effective health of the ship is still better even against those damage types.
