The Fissure Torpedo is a powerful Explosive weapon with the ability to split into two lateral charges after detonation, but is only available to frigates.
It fires an unguided torpedo that appears similar to a fireball. Upon detonation, two orbs appear in a 240 degrees split, which can pierce two ships (and hit the third) and travel up to another 4,250 m at a speed of 2,000 m/s.

Advantages[edit | edit source]
File:Fissure 1.png Fissure Torpedoes have excellent mass efficiency as an Explosive weapon, even greater than that of SICO Missiles. They are particularly suited against battleships and destroyers, which tend to have line formations that can be exploited by the weapon's lateral charges.
They are even more effective against those who try to run away from your frigates: the lateral charges are angled away from your ships, allowing the torpedoes to hit multiple enemies as they literally run into them.
Disadvantages[edit | edit source]
Fissure Torpedoes are also easily dodged due to their slow projectile speed and are therefore weak to other frigates.
