The Segfault Dreadnought is a massive Dreadnought hull utilized by the Pharmakon.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

The Segfault Dreadnought towers over all other Tier 7 ships in the Pharmakon Armada, possessing the firepower and health of an entire fleet on its own.

Like the Behemoth Dreadnought, its unique Firing Arc enables it to fire both sides of its weapons on a single target should it be foolish enough to enter the overlapping firing arcs.

Like all other Pharmakon hulls, it gains increased movement speed while phased, but its boosts are much larger, instead gaining a whopping 600 m/s ship speed, 580 m/s2 and 39 deg/s turning speed, enabling it to easily disappear from sight and then outflank its opponents. At Elite it becomes ridiculously fast, having a maximum speed of 1600 m/s.

Like all dreadnoughts, it boosts the DPS and health of weapons and armor equipped to it. It also has Plasma Resistance, and Blight Resistance as its upgraded, reducing the damage that it takes from both of its weapons.

Lastly, it deals additional damage to Umbra Hulls, making it the antithesis to the Behemoth Dreadnought.

Disadvantages[ | ]

The Segfault's high maximum mass makes it occupy the majority of space in a Fleet. Expect to not be able to escort the Segfault with as many ships as compared to other fleets.

The Maximum Mass is a large limiting factor, players have to choose the weapons they want to outfit on the Segfault wisely.

Due to the large ship mass, it is recommended to not outfit any equipment that take up % ship mass as the amount of space required by it will be huge.

While not phased, the low acceleration and turning speed of the Segfault makes it a sitting duck, allowing enemies to easily outflank it, especially if the ship has lost its screen defense.

As Tier 8 came along, all the older ships were instantly rendered obsolete, and nowhere as near obsolete as any tier before. This vessel suffered from Zettabyte Dreadnought having similar speeds and Warping capabilities, making Segfault not only useless, but also not as fun.

Nowadays its PvP Gating +/- 15 levels gap is only worsening the situation. Even Tier 10 ships can battle it, despite the Phase State bringing some uncertainties into the battle outcome.
