The Energy, Explosive, Kinetic, Blight and Plasma Siphon Resistors grant damage resistance, albeit at the cost of a faster phase drain rate.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

Siphon Resistors are tailored for Pharmakon Hulls. Instead of costing mass to equip, they instead increase the drain rate of Phase screens, freeing up more space for additional equipment.

They also grant as much resistance as the other Faction resistors, making them just as effective.

Disadvantages[ | ]

As they increase the drain rate of Phase Screens, Pharmakon Hulls are more vulnerable with the resistor equipped, as they will drop out of phase much more quickly.

They are restricted to Pharmakon Hulls, and being a Reusable Item, are limited to how many RIs the player has collected.

Trivia[ | ]

This is the first Pharmakon resistor introduced into the game.
The Phasing revamp during early November 2019 drastically reduced the nominal Phase Drain modifier of Ship Siphon Resistors because their effect now stacks across the whole fleet instead of just a single ship.
