General[edit | edit source]
Blight Ablative Carapace provides even more Ablative Recovery when dealing Blight Damage to enemies.
Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]
Advantages[edit | edit source]
Ablative Carapace is better than its predecessor in almost every way - greater Ablative Health, Ablative Recovery and Devour Recovery - even if Blight weaponry is used.
Moreover, compared to the same level of Ablative Tungsten Armor, Ablative Carapace I-III has superior mass efficiency.
Ablative Carapace has the same XP values as Ablative Tungsten Armor despite being superior to it, allowing your ships to hit lower level player targets.
Disadvantages[edit | edit source]
Blight Ablative Carapace IV has lower health per mass than BL Ablative Tungsten Armor, though its Recovery stats vastly outperform the latter.
Ablative Carapace III and above take up an absurd amount of mass, making them only feasible on highly upgraded ships which have large mass discounts for Ablative Armor.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Ablative Carapace is the Tier 8 Ablative Armor defense.
